Since it’s officially the fall season, the temperature has cooled down…thank goodness. Of course some of it had to do with Hurricane Florence – lots of rain, but that only added to the rain that my area had all summer.

At the end of the summer I lost someone close to me. Over the years we had our ups and downs, but I was glad during the past year we were able to talk about things, and I am glad to have been in a very good place in our relationship. One thing I did notice was that she spoke about making the best of things while she can, and that every day was a blessing. Did she know something that she didn’t tell the family? Who knows…I just recall a melancholy feeling when she would speak on things. It was similar to Dad would reflect on life.
In April I spoke about how to get back centered even when everything seems to be falling apart around you. I also spoke about how some months are harder than others, and to celebrate that you made it through another month. I am definitely happy that as another month is ending, despite challenges that came up, I am happy to still be here, both in SL and RL.
I am not sure what to do in order to celebrate the end of the month, but I feel like for this month, I should do something to celebrate. How about you – what will you do at the end of the month?
