Hey guys! I’m back and in the kitchen, ready to do my next segment on the foods from the Multicultural Menu event. This time I will be making gingerbread cookies from Chimeric Arts.

I was fortunate to be able to use my boss’s kitchen in her Maven home to cook some of these foods that I’m getting. So, right now I have the box of cookies from Chimeric Arts. I like how the instructions are pretty straightforward. 6 cookies in all, and even shows you what the individual cookies will look like while you decorate them.

After opening the box, you see 6 cookies – 3 boy cookies, and 3 girl cookies. When you click one, it goes into your inventory, and it disappears from the box. I took out 1 boy and 1 girl cookie. My original intention was to decorate one of each, but decorating the boy cookie was very involved (in a good way!), so I was satisfied with the one that I did.

This is what the cookie looks like when I rezzed it back onto the table. It looks cute, right? So what you do is click the arrow next to each category, and you will see a number of options appear on your cookie. Some categories have many options, like the nose. I felt it had a multitude of options, and I had a hard time making up my mind on what my gingerbread man should have ^^

I made a slide show of the steps that I took to make my cookie. You can see how much fun I had playing around with the different options.

In the end, I went with something simple – white tee and dark pants. He has blue eyes and brown hair, and a cute little candy nose. I could actually imagine me eating the candy in real life ^^ But do they make brown candies? If not I guess you can always use food coloring or natural juices perhaps?

The cookies are transfer only, so you cannot modify the size. Can you imagine a GIANT gingerbread man?
